At Mischief Books (13+), we believe that young people deserve great stories—tales to guide, entertain, and inspire as today’s teens come of age in an increasingly uncertain world.

From toppling regimes to navigating first love, our stories feature action-packed, edge-of-your seat adventure to capture young attention spans, while delving into themes that resonate across generations.

From the young adult to the young at heart, everyone needs a little spark of Mischief.

MISCHIEF
We are seeking novels in the following subgenres of romantic fiction:

• Contemporary
• Science Fiction
• Paranormal
• Fantasy
• Romantic Suspense and Thrillers

Guidelines:

• High-concept plots that leave us clamoring for more
• Sweet romantic elements are a must!
• 13-18 year old protagonists that will appeal to crossover audiences
• 80k to 100k words in length for all genres, except contemporary romance, which we prefer remain under 90k
• M/F, M/M, F/F, and multicultural characters are welcome!
• We accept both agented and unagented submissions.
• Please attach only the first 3 chapters of the manuscript. FULL MANUSCRIPTS WILL BE DELETED UPON RECEIPT.
• Please format your submission in the standard manuscript format: Times New Roman, 12 pt, double-spaced, with one-inch margins.
• All submissions materials will be deleted after 90 business days. If an author or agent has not heard back from an Entangled Team Member in 90 days, they are strongly encouraged to resubmit.
